Totally enjoyed this.
Taking theatre into the streets tests our understanding of what the ground rules are. When you step into a theatre you know the usual rules don't apply - people say and do things you can't say and do outside the theatre. So what happens when the theatre is the street? What are the acceptable boundaries?
One of the performances was interrupted by a passer-by, who reacted aggressively to the performance. So here we have an actor performing, and an 'audience member' reacting. Is this still theatre? Or real life?
Worth 3 x the ticket price. Well done all involved on creating a memorable, challenging an buzzy piece. More please.
